Spotify Mix, the Stunning Art of Sho Shibuya, and Must-Have Framer Tools You Can’t Miss!

Your Weekly Dose of WeLoveDaily

Hey there! ⭐️

We know you’re used to hearing from us in the afternoons, but inspiration can strike at any time, and this midday felt right. How’s your week going? Ours has been pretty hectic, but we love the adrenaline rush.

Yesterday, we found out that Spotify introduced Spotify Mix, a new font that’s replacing the one we’re all familiar with in the app and desktop version. It might seem like a small thing, but Spotify went all out with a campaign to make sure everyone notices the change.

We’re more into Apple Music, but hey, that's another story for another day.

Shall we get started?

Spotlight work — NEWFOUND EQUILIBRIUM

This week, we showcased an amazing project. If you’re not following all our Instagram accounts yet, this is your sign to do it because you’re missing out on the incredible projects we share daily.

NEWFOUND EQUILIBRIUM is an animation project developed by Clim Studio in collaboration with Samsung. You can find the case study on @weloveanimations —we promise it’s pure visual delight.

Btw, if you have a project you want to share with the world, don’t forget to visit our website to submit your work!

Creative toolbox — Framer

Of course, we read your comments, and many of you have been asking for web design tools in Framer. To help you take your websites to the next level with components and add-ons that expand Framer's feature set, here are two options we think you'll find useful:

1. CMS Item Counter Component

Display the number of items in a CMS collection with this customizable Framer component. Compatible with CMS collection filters, so it's perfect for adding a number label to categories or collections.

2. Connect Slideshows & Carousels to the CMS

Create looping slideshows and carousels powered by CMS collections.

Enjoy!

Inspiration Station — Sho Shibuya

You might know who he is, or maybe not, but you’ve definitely seen the inspiring work of Sho Shibuya. Sho Shibuya blends everyday life with deep artistic expression. His work stands out for several reasons:

  1. Innovative Mediums: Shibuya often uses unconventional materials and methods, like painting over New York Times front pages. This transforms everyday objects into striking pieces of art, encouraging artists to see potential in the mundane.

  2. Blend of Art and Design: As a graphic designer and artist, Shibuya seamlessly integrates principles of both fields. His work demonstrates how design and fine art can coexist and enhance one another, offering a model for creatives looking to blur the lines between disciplines.

Overall, Sho Shibuya's art is a testament to the power of creativity, daily practice, and the ability to find beauty and meaning in everyday experiences. His work serves as a powerful reminder for artists to stay observant, persistent, and thoughtful in their creative journeys.
