How many tortured poets do we have here? ✍🏻
Hi everyone ⚡️ New week, new newsletter. Thanks to all for your comments and the great support you've given to each edition.
This week was full of many things, we launched a new section of curated projects, we are receiving many new projects that want to be published, and we are hearing many doubts about the process for uploading their projects to welovedaily.com
Don't forget that you can write to us by replying to this email or by DM on any of our channels.
Well, let's get started.
Curated by welovedaily ✹ Momus
We’re thrilled to introduce you to this carefully curated projects section by the welovedaily team. Look out for projects handpicked by us, marked with our distinctive badge on each post.
We hope you enjoy them as much as we do, and we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Congrats to The Branding People team for being our first curated project.
Your work could be the next one featured here:
Inspiration Station — The Creative Act: A Way of Being.
You've probably heard or read about this book because it's one of the most talked-about online books on art and creativity. Rick Rubin, a music producer, is the author, and he released the book in January 2023.
We've seen a lot of people criticize this book, and we don't understand why. They say it's not a book to teach creativity but doesn't give you a series of tips or tricks to increase creativity. But what surprises us is that all these people believe that creativity has a recipe. Creativity isn't like math, where 1+1=2; it's not something you can teach.
That's precisely what we like about this book; it's filled with short but exciting chapters that make you reflect on the connection between you and the source of the universe. If we had to point out something we don't like about the book, it would be that it ends.
We want you to remember the opening line of the book:
"The object is not to make art, it's to be in that wonderful state which makes art inevitable."
